About Emma

My name is Emma. I graduated with my bachelors degree in Health Science in 2020. During my time as an undergraduate student I worked as a volunteer at Sagamore Village in Portland, ME. I worked at an after school program for disadvantaged youths, helping them with school work as well as being somebody for them to talk to about anything they needed. I have also gained valuable experience while working for Black Bear Support Services as a behavior health professional. While serving in this position, I have gained extensive skills in handling children with varied disabilities in one-on-one settings. Lastly, I worked as a lead infant daycare teacher. I was in charge of creating lesson plans to help develop key cognitive and physical attributes. I was also responsible for keeping a clean, well sanitized safe area as well as providing a loving nurturing environment.
