About Emma

Hi! My name is Emma and I am a Neuroscience major with a minor in Black Studies entering my senior year at Providence College and am preparing to apply to Optometry school. My coursework has given me experience in both math and science subjects, as well as English, reading and writing. Because of this, I'm very comfortable helping students across a variety of subjects and grade levels! I've always enjoyed working with kids and helping them learn in a way that feels fun and encouraged rather than stressful. As someone who has taken challenging science and math courses throughout college, I understand that learning can be difficult at times and I would love to help kids work through concepts until they truly understand them and feel confident in themselves. I'm very patient and approachable and would love to help kids out whether it's homework help, test preparation, or extra support in a specific subject!
