New to Care
This is a criminal background check required for all caregiver before they can message families.
Hi! I'm Emma, a nursing student at UVM with hands-on clinical experience caring for older adults and individuals with diverse medical needs. Through my medical-surgical and maternal/newborn rotations, I've developed skills in patient safety, health monitoring, mobility assistance, and working closely with families and care teams. I also volunteer with Vermont Adaptive, supporting individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities through adaptive activities. I provide compassionate support with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and medication reminders, as well as companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, and engaging activities that promote well-being. Families describe me as warm, dependable, and deeply compassionate. Certifications include BLS/CPR, Wilderness First Aid, and Stop the Bleed. I am available starting June 1st and would love to provide skilled, thoughtful care you can rely on.
