About Emmaline

Hello! As a mother myself of a 1. 5-year-old sweet, goofy boy, nurturing young minds is my passion. I bring two years of (professional) experience of all ages, and 7 years of casual babysitting family and friends. I am comfortable and confident in caring well for 1-3 children of all ages at a time. My parenting style is neither the extremes of "gentle" nor "authoritative." I would describe my parenting style as assertive and kind. Kindness tells the truth in a loving way, and assertiveness takes authority without overpowering the child's autonomy. I am comfortable enforcing household rules as I value structure and boundaries, while also holding highly the value of fun. I am intentional, gentle, and kind. My son and I enjoy exploring outdoors, educational games, reading, dancing/singing, cooking, and creating sensory bin activities. I have a college degree in Social Work, have reliable transportation, and would need to bring my son along to visits.
