About Emma

I've had a lot of experience working with kids of many different ages and many different needs. I love working with kids because it's something I grew up doing with my younger siblings. The way I grew up is a big reason why I enjoy helping people. I have three younger siblings, two of which I would watch on a weekly basis for my parents. One whom up until July this year, I was still helping look after. She has a rare disability called Jacobson syndrome, which is a similar to condition to autism. And she's the main reason I applied and was hired to be a para educator (TA) in a high school special ed class. It was something I absolutely loved doing for the 2 1/2 years I was employed. I love meeting new kids and getting to know them individually. And helping when it's needed is the best way anyone can spend their time. I have experience with light house keeping, cooking basic meals, changing diapers and tucking kids in for the night.
