About Emma

My goal is to create enriching experiences for children while providing peace of mind for parents. I style of care includes providing creative activities, facilitating outdoor play and time in nature, incorporating reading and music into your child's day and more. I am based in Reno but am happy to provide care around Lake Tahoe as well. I am a psychology student at UNR, rock climber, hiker, avid reader and love to cook! I have been working with children in many different ways for the past 7 years, including: BABYSITTING children ages 0-12 TUTORING kids grades 1-8 in math, writing, and German. TEACHING kids how to code and work with computers at an after school coding club. COACHING kids in rock climbing at high altitude fitness. SUPERVISING kids in a daycare setting at a fitness gym. CERTIFICATIONS: I also hold a current CPR, AED and first aid certificate.

Emma was an excellent caregiver. My two year old who has a tough time with transitions usually had no problem adapting. She watched during the week while we skied. She did outdoor activities with home, Helped us clean, grab groceries, was communicative and prompt, offered extra hours and most importantly was wonderful with the kids.
