About Emma

Hi! I'm Emma, a Social Work student at the University of Hawai'I and a practicum student with Hale Kipa, a nonprofit focused on youth outreach. I have over 7 years of experience caring for children ranging from infants to 6th grade. I've worked with dozens of families and love creating fun, engaging days tailored to each child's unique personality. I enjoy imaginative play, board games, reading stories, swimming, Uno, and getting outside for walks or going to the park. My background in Social Work helps me bring empathy, patience, and strong communication skills to every job. I've also worked with neurodivergent children and always aim to meet kids where they're at with understanding and support. I have my own car and am currently available for part-time care, date nights, and occasional babysitting. I'd love to learn more about what you're looking for and see if it's a good fit.
