Hi, my name is Emma! I moved to Colorado from Virginia 7 years ago to be closer to my niece and nephew, and I absolutely love being their auntie. Being involved in their lives has deepened my passion for childcare. I have over 10 years of childcare experience, including 3 years as a full-time nanny for a wonderful family with two young children. I started working for them when their baby boy was 8 months old and stayed through the birth of their daughter. When they moved to England this past May, the kids were 2 and 3. 5 years old. I give Emma the highest recommendation I could possibly give. She was our full-time nanny for three years, and provided the most nourishing, creative, loving, and safe environment for our two toddlers (now aged 2 and 4). I would say Emma was our Mary Poppins, except Emma blows Mary Poppins out of the water. As you know, childcare is much more challenging than it seems on the surface, and it takes a special type of person to do the job well. For Emma, it truly is a calling, and three years in she continued coming into work every day with a passion and desire to stimulate our children in novel ways. Emma is a part of our family. The only reason we stopped employing Emma was because our family moved abroad, but if not for that, we would have wanted to keep Emma as long as she was willing to continue working with us. Having had a few bad experiences with other nannies before, I can honestly say that any family would feel blessed to have Emma care for their children.
