About Emma

I'd describe my personality as responsible, friendly, and patient. I like tutoring because I find it really rewarding to see someone gain confidence and start to understand things on their own. I like being able to explain things in different ways to find how they are able to understand it best. I'm looking for a job where I can be helpful and make a positive impact! I haven't had a formal tutoring job yet, but I've been helping my classmates for several years. I graduated as valedictorian, so I've always taken academics seriously and enjoy explaining things. In my spare time, I like to cheer! I am currently a division 1 cheerleader at the University of South Florida, but aside from cheer, I love to do anything active like hiking, swimming, biking, walking, etc. One thing families should know about me is that I'm very dependable and take my responsibilities seriously. My top tutoring skills are patience, clear communication, and encouraging others in a kind way.
