About Emma Elisabeth

Hi there! My name is Emma and I truly enjoy working with kids and helping them feel safe, supported, and understood. I'm currently a special education paraeducator at an elementary school, where I work with a wide range of students, including non-verbal and autistic children. This role has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to meet each child where they're at. Before this, I worked at Tanager supporting kids with similar needs, and at the YMCA daycare where I cared for children from infancy through kindergarten. These experiences helped me build strong skills in communication, behavior support, and creating a fun, structured environment. I have a degree in Psychology and Human Services and worked as a tutor in college, so I bring an educational perspective into how I support and engage with kids. I'm passionate about helping children grow, learn, and feel confident. I aim to be someone that both kids and parents can trust!
