About Emma

Empowering students to reach their full potential has been my primary focus as an educator. Holding a graduate education degree and a MA teacher certification, I have worked with many students on Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My teaching philosphy stems from building confidence in students and fostering a genuine love for learning. I adapt to students' unique needs by actively observing how they interact with new material, utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue to find the best fit. Whether we are tackling Math problems, refining English skills, or preparing for exams, I connect challenging concepts to the students' personal interests to keep them engaged. I truly value the trust built together with my students, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch their confidence grow as they master new skills. I look forward to helping more students achieve their academic goals.
