About Emma

Hello! My name is Emma, and I'm a recent graduate of Ohio university with a bachelors in English. While a student, I worked as a writing tutor and helped hundreds of students across all ages and majors with their assignments. I've taught classes on writing a thesis statement, how to cite sources correctly, and how to properly format and organize an essay. I can help students with their class assignments, personal statements for college applications, and everything in between! In my spare time, I like to read, edit poetry for online literary journals, and write reviews for albums! One thing you should know about me is I avoid using generative AI in my tutoring, so what I give to my tutee is 100% original work. My skills include proofreading, copy editing, and overall editing to improve a paper's flow while keeping it as original to the writer as possible.
