Hi! I'm Emma and I recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Environmental Engineering. I now work full-time as a Water Resources Engineer in Portland, but I'm looking for part-time babysitting opportunities because I genuinely love spending time with kids and staying connected to that part of my life. I have over 10 years of babysitting experience, including a summer as a nanny for a child with special needs. I've also worked at multiple summer camps and as a daycare attendant, and I'm the oldest of nine kids-so I've been around little ones my whole life. I'm CPR and First Aid certified for infants through adults, and I'm confident handling anything from bedtime routines to busy after-school schedules. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, reading, and hanging out with my dog, Wrigley. I'm a calm, creative, and reliable caregiver who truly enjoys getting to know each child's personality. Emma babysat our two daughters when they were ages 5-7 and 7-9. She was a fantastic babysitter, engaging them in sports, creative/artistic activities, and reading, amongst other playful activities. She always prioritized safety and is gentle and kind. Our daughters adored her. Additionally, she frequently prepped meals and cleaned up, and she always got the kids to bed on time! A wonderful, responsible babysitter, I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
