About Emma Christina

For me, working with children is incredibly rewarding. With over 8 years of private school lead teacher classroom and childcare experience, including a graduate degree and Early Child Development coursework, I'm confident in my ability to provide nurturing and engaging care. My background as a teacher has equipped me with the skills to care for children of all ages, and I'm certified in the IB diploma program and certified in Choice Theory. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I communicate with parents through written reports, verbal updates, and by following their preferred communication methods. I am happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I also have CPR Training. I follow the parents' lead with household agreed consequences. I have the expertise and knowledge to promote internal responsibility and to encourage motivation which are key to successful learning.
