About Emma

Hi! I recently graduated from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans with a master of communication disorders in speech language pathology. Born and raised in NOLA, I've been babysitting local families here for 8 years. Due to my clinical background as a speech therapist, I have a wide range of experience with children of all ages and needs, ranging from 6 weeks to 13 years old. I also have experience with special needs children, including Down Syndrome and autism as well as children who use AAC devices. From playing outside to playing board games, I always prioritize following the child's lead. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children and am happy to assist with carpooling and light housekeeping needs. I also maintain CPR Training and First Aid certification. I'm new to using this app but am happy to provide references from families I've babysat for from outside the care app! I look forward to the possibility of helping your family and caring for your children!
