About Emma

Hello! I'm so glad that you're taking a chance to look at my profile! My name is Emma & I currently teach elementary Latin! I graduated with an MLitt in Classics from St. Andrews in December, & my BA was in Classics at UNC Chapel Hill! I have over 10 years of caring for children as young as 3 months & as old as 11. My outlook on caring for children is to be as engaged & at their level as possible. This means different things for every child and family! Whether it laying on the floor and looking a books or toys with an infant, building a tower with toddlers, playing make believe with preschoolers & older kids, I'm ready to have a wonderful adventure with your children! I also know that sitting doesn't stop at the childcare, so I always leave your house cleaner than I found it. I have been driving for 8 years (clean driving record) & regularly transport children to and from activities. I am Red Cross certified to babysit, CPR certified, & references are available upon request :)
