About Emma

I'm a childcare provider with five years of experience caring for children of all ages and abilities. I hold a Master's Degree in K-12 Special Education from UVA, and taught in a classroom for students with autism for over 2 years. I have worked with neurodivergent children for 5+ years. I have taught children with disabilities including autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and intellectual disabilities. I am able to work with neurotypical and neurodivergent children. I'm patient, calm, and skilled at creating engaging games for children. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules and following the parents' lead. I keep parents updated on their child's day via text or phone call. I hold a Graduate Degree and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I also have a car and am comfortable with pets. I'm available to care for up to two children, ages 2-12+. I'm a dedicated and experienced childcare provider who loves working with children. I would be honored to care for your family.
