About Emma

I offer individualized lessons for middle and early high school students looking for help in English, reading, and writing! Simply correcting a student's work isn't what I want to get from a lesson. I want to help the student understand what works and help them apply these concepts across all future writing! We can build an essay from the ground up, tackle an assignment, pinpoint a certain writing skill, or prepare for upcoming papers and projects. But overall, I want my lessons to feel encouraging and get students excited about reading and writing. These concepts can be frightening to someone who isn't comfortable with them. My goal is to help students gain confidence so they can tackle any assignment with ease!
