About Emma

I'd describe my personality as caring, hard-working, and reliable. I like working with kids because I have a big heart and I love taking care of people and helping others. I worked for 6 months as a nurses assistant in a nursing home in Potosi, Mo and that was some of most rewarding work but it can be really sad too, I really want to transition into working with children again to continue that kind of care. I started working with kids when I was really young, I started out helping my mom out in the nursery on Sunday services when I was 8, by the time I was 12 I was in the rotation for nursery duty, I babysat for different families in the church. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes, take my dog to the park, and I love to curl up with a good book. One thing you should know about me is I'm always looking for new ways to approach things and cater to the person/people I am caring for. My skills include patience, communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills.
