About Emma

Hi! My name is Emma I recently moved to the Kalispell area from WA State. I am 25yrs old and have nearly a decade of childcare experience working with kids of all ages, from infancy through pre-teens. My passion has always been caring for infants and toddlers, but I am more than happy to work with any age group. My childcare journey began at age 16 in the infant/toddler program at the YMCA. I gained valuable experience in early childhood development and planning age-appropriate activities. Then, while attending BSU pursuing a degree in Social Work, I worked as a Nanny for a family with two kids under 3yrs old. I remained with that family for about a year before returning to WA during the pandemic. The past 4+ years, I have worked as a Visitation Supervisor in foster care. I was responsible for transporting and supervising court-ordered visits to ensure safety & well-being. This has given me experience managing challenging behaviors and creating a stable/positive environment.
