About Emma

Hi, I'm Emma! I have over 20 years of paid babysitting and nanny experience. I've worked with children of all ages, and truly love building lasting, positive relationships with the families I serve. I spent a year as a live-in nanny for four children. The youngest child was special needs and I did his OT and speech exercises with him daily. I spent five years as a part-time nanny for a family of three. These roles taught me how important it is to balance fun, structure, and open communication with parents. I am CPR and AED certified for adults, children, and infants. I have been a swim instructor since 2004. I'd describe my personality as creative, patient, and calm. I like working with kids because I love seeing how they learn and view things. In my spare time, I like to listen to audiobooks, be outside in nature, go rock hounding, do art, while traveling visit historic homes and gardens, and go to art museums.
