About Emi

Emi came into our family at a time of great need this summer, caring for a loved one with worsening dementia. She was proactive, intelligent, and brought such cultural awareness and sensitivity to her caregiving. In addition, she speaks several languages fluently, which made communication feel effortless and inclusive. Her positive attitude and warm, welcoming presence quickly made her a refreshing and uplifting part of our days. Emi went out of her way to make our family member feel special and valued, encouraging new interests and creating a fun, therapeutic atmosphere filled with stories, laughter, and meaningful engagement. Our family member truly looked forward to the days Emi was here. She was also extremely punctual, reliable, and thoughtful in her scheduling, which gave our family great peace of mind. Very fit and active, Emi enjoyed long walks with our loved one, helping to keep both body and spirit engaged. She also took initiative in preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping when needed. Most importantly, Emi earned our family member’s trust in just two weeks—a remarkable gift—and became a valued member of our family care team. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, kindness, and professionalism.
