About Emily

I know that it is important that you hire someone who your children will have a fun & safe time with. I am currently a special education teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools, teaching K-2 behavior. I have previously worked for Denver Public Schools in the same position and in middle school. I have a strong passion for teaching students social emotional regulation skills, math & being a kind human. I work really hard to build relationships with families and that is my biggest philosophy both as an educator & a nanny. I would describe myself as being energetic, attentive, fun, and creative. I am also CPR, First Aid, CPI certified, my teaching degree is in K-12 general education with an emphasis in special education. I also am attending University of Northern Colorado in the fall for my masters degree in behavior analyst.
