About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I'm a 32-year-old mom to a newborn offering in-home daily babysitting in a loving, safe, and inclusive environment. I have 17 years of childcare experience, starting back in my teens when I volunteered in my church's Sunday school and nursery. Since then, I've worked in many different roles, including nannying, daycare toddler teacher, and preschool teacher. For the past 7 years, working one-on-one with children, teens, and young adults with Autism (ages 2-21) with a wide range of needs and abilities. I'm also about to graduate with my Master's degree in Special Education, and I am CPR certified. As a new mom, I truly understand how hard it is to trust someone with your child. I aim to create the kind of environment I'd want for my own baby - nurturing, patient, and full of care. My hours are flexible and I offer occasional evening and weekend babysitting as well!
