About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a wife, and proud mom of three amazing kids ages 13, 11, and 9. My heart for caring for children began at a very young age-I started babysitting as a teen and discovered my true passion while working at a daycare. There, I eventually became the lead teacher in the infant room, where I gained valuable experience nurturing and caring for little ones. After college, I continued working with children at a small Christian school. When my husband's career brought us to Virginia, I began caring for babies through Care. com, supporting two families. Now that all three of my kids are in school, I'm excited to return to what I truly love-caring for babies. Creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for them to grow and thrive has always been at the center of my heart. I am currently available to provide childcare in my home and do have reliable transportation. I am also looking for a position that allows summers off so I can spend that special time with my own kids
