About Emily

Hi everyone my name is Emily! I currently work part time as a kindergarten teacher at a YMCA after school program. Nurturing young minds is a genuine passion of mine. My previous babysitting experiences solidified my desire to positively impact children's lives. I bring two years of experience caring for children of all ages. I hold a college degree, and my coursework includes Early Child Development. I am also certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. Parents appreciate my patient, calm, and creative approach. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and communicate updates at pickup, always following your preferred method. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. Caring for one child is my ideal setting. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
