About Emily

I love working with children. I have experience watching children from ages 6 months to 14 years. I have watched up to 5 children at a time, but am most comfortable with 3 or fewer. I am certified in CPR and have had basic first aid training. I am comfortable around animals of all kinds (I am also a pet sitter on occasion). I have also had experience tutoring. I have tutored for almost four years in mathematics (I am also capable in other subjects if needed). I have been a tutor for the College of Southern Maryland intermittently for the past three years and have tutored privately prior to that. I worked full time as a nanny for almost a year with three amazing children aged 4/5, 6/7, and 9/10. I homeschooled the middle child in Kindergarten and frequently incorporated other lessons to include the other children.
