About Emily

I am a passionate teacher that loves making math fun! My lessons are hands-on, engaging, and encouraging. Some would even consider my zeal infectious! As a classroom teacher, I taught Numeracy, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Calculus to 125 students annually, including students on IEPs and 504s. I graduated from Clark University with a Bachelors in Mathematics and a Masters in Teaching. My pedagogical methods ensure foundational mathematical understanding, from fractions to functions and beyond. My goal is to build self-confidence in my student's abilities and background knowledge to empower them as young mathematicians. I can accommodate all learning needs and styles.
