About Emily

I started babysitting at a really early age and continued doing so for many years. Prior to getting married and becoming a mom I worked as a nanny, and also as a preschool teacher/assistant. And even did some home daycare after I got married and had our first daughter. I've spent the better part of my working life as a medical assistant which pulled me into many different clinical settings including pediatrics. Most recently, before our move to La Quinta from Portland, Oregon, I worked as the office manager for a behavioral health clinic. I continue to help them remotely, on a limited basis. I'd love to find a family that needs occasional or part-time help. I really enjoy cooking and baking so I'm happy to help with meal prep or laundry. I love to go on walks, take trips to the park, zoo, or library.
