About Emily

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the foundation of my teaching practice. With one year of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your needs by observing how you interact with new material, then adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your style. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to maintain momentum. I believe open communication with you and your family is essential to building a collaborative environment for success. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex idea finally clicks remains the most rewarding part of my work. I am ready to help you thrive in Math and Science, whether we meet at your home, a library, or online. I look forward to helping you grow into a confident, independent learner.
