About Emily

I've cared for children in many capacities, including as a babysitter, nanny, afterschool teacher, Montessori assistant, and even a children's performer! I love creating a fun, safe, and emotionally attuned space for kiddos to be themselves. From reading to crafts to homework to nature time to just chilling, I enjoy being part of it all. As a caregiver (and a person) I always strive to be attentive, patient, and empathetic. I want kids and adults alike to feel seen and respected, and for their interests and skills to be supported. I'm 36 with a professional background in writing and journalism. I stepped away from full time work a year ago to become a caregiver for a family member with dementia. I have completed CPR and First Aid training multiple times and am happy to renew my certification before starting, if you prefer. It takes a village, and I'd love to be part of the support team for your family!
