About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I grew up in Manchester and I'm a recent college graduate from PSU with a degree in Energy Engineering. I'm a caring, dependable, and responsible caregiver who finds joy in working with children. I've grown up babysitting & worked as a camp counselor for 4 years for the MAC Kid's Camp, where I supervised groups of 2-5 children between the ages of 2 and 6. This role helped me develop a great sense of patience, creativity, & strong communication skills especially when managing young children with different needs and personalities. I especially enjoy engaging kids in creative & active play from crafts to outdoor adventures & I always aim to keep screen time to a minimum. I love to bake and cook. While I prefer working with children who are already potty trained, I'm comfortable helping with occasional accidents & am always encouraging and supportive during toilet training.
