About Emily

Hi, my name is Emily and I'm an energetic, nurturing and creative childcare professional! I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and I'm working towards a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I'm experienced in caring for children from infancy (6 months) through teens, in various settings. I've also completed coursework in early childhood education & development, I'm First Aid & CPR certified and am a trained lifeguard. I absolutely love working with children, and providing them with a safe and playful environment to learn and grow. I am patient, creative, and approachable. I prioritize open communication with parents. I am comfortable enforcing household rules & routines, and I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, travel, crafts, outdoor play, and swimming supervision. In my personal time, I love to read, go thrifting with my friends, and I sing in a choir! I look forward to hearing from you and would love the opportunity to help your child thrive.
