About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, an early childhood educator with a deep love for working with young kids. I currently work as a kindergarten paraprofessional at a public elementary school, where I support a full classroom and give extra one-on-one help to kids who need it. I'm also pursuing my M. Ed. in Elementary Education, so child development and how children learn is something I think about every day, both on the job and in my coursework. I bring patience, creativity, and genuine warmth to every family I work with. I'm comfortable building routines, helping with homework, planning hands-on activities, and keeping things calm and fun. I love getting kids outside, cooking simple things together, and turning everyday moments into little learning opportunities. Before teaching, I worked in public radio and the arts and spent years in hospitality and lifeguarding, so I'm reliable, safety-minded, and easy to communicate with. I'd love to be a steady, caring presence for your family.
