About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I have about 2 years of paid childcare experience, but a lot more experience outside of that caring for my friends and family's kids as well. I have experience with many different ages ranging from 8 months old to 9 years old. Growing up, my mom was a full-time nanny, so I accompanied her to many of her jobs as well throughout my entire childhood and into my teenage years, which is when I realized this is my passion as well! I truly believe it is crucial to have the right people caring for and around your family, and I understand the anxieties that come with introducing someone new so I am more than happy to do video calls, extra introductions, lots of updates and/or being on camera during our time together to make everyone feel more comfortable. I definitely prefer a gentle approach to caregiving, and I have some (about 3 months) experience with special needs children.
