I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and can help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision.

Absolutely the best! Emily has such a lovely way about her. She took our boy to the library, cuddled and read to him. We felt so at ease from the moment she arrived!

Emily is incredibly caring, responsive and nurturing to the entire family she works with.  She senses both kids' and parents' needs with ease and grace and treats your kids and your home as if they were her own.  She is incredibly patient and grounded and our kids have so much fun with her.  She can handle many different kids and ages at once and makes every kid feel seen and cared for.  I can't recommend highly enough!!

We met Emily on Care around a year ago and since then she has become one of our regular sitters. We love her! She is 100% responsible but also caring and fun, and she really goes the extra mile for my kid! (And for me.) Can't say enough good things!

We hired Emily to take care of our son (22 months old) for a wedding weekend in VT. Emily was very dependable, very sweet, friendly and punctual. My son immediately felt comfortable with her, and we did too. She took care of our son for 2 days during the wedding festivities and they had a lot of fun together. I'm so glad with found Emily, she was the perfect baby-sitter for my son. If we come back to VT, we will 100% hire her again.

Six years ago, we found Emily on Care.com when our colicky first born was 20 weeks old. Little did we know what a blessing she would be for our children and family. 2.5 years later we welcomed boy/girl twins. Emily has carried us through many family stages, changes and challenges with kindness, grace, patience and love. I cannot possibly due her justice in this post only to say that in my "advanced maternal age" I considered having a 4th child in order to not let her go. If you are lucky enough to court her to your family it will be a blessing. She is an amazing and wonderful human.

We hired Emily to babysit a group of children at our wedding. She was prepared, friendly, and all of the children (and parents) had a great time. She truly helped to make our wedding fun for everyone! 

Emily cared for my 7 and 9-year-old sons after school 3-6 pm and 8 am-6 pm during school vacations. Emily is an excellent sitter, who cared for my sons as if they were her brothers. She was always on time and ensured that the children had ample outdoor playtime, healthy snacks, and plenty of opportunities for new experiences. Emily frequently took the children on "field trips" to hike, swim and bike, and she was diligent in ensuring that the children attended to their homework in a timely manner each afternoon. Emily is the perfect combination of the fun and energy that keep children entertained and the maturity and experience that give a parent is confident knowing that the child is in good hands. Based on my experience working with Emily for over ~2 years, I highly recommend her.

I have known Emily for eleven years, as a neighbor, friend and employee. She started as our young neighbor who came to visit with us and share about her life. Emily was sweet, friendly, a caring older sister and constantly offered us help and company. We knew her as her younger sister's biggest support and friend through both the best and the most difficult of times.  

Emily was one of the first of our friends to visit and snuggle our infant daughter and she spent many hours happily visiting, holding, rocking and playing with her.  As our daughter grew, Emily became her first, her favorite and her most requested babysitter. When Emily moved away from our neighborhood, our daughter was as sad as if one of her own family members had left.

We watched Emily take on a challenging nanny position with a newly divorced family and silently applauded her as she handled it with a calm and care well beyond her years. She described the children as "her boys" and was able to effectively balance the serious tasks of a nanny (chauffeuring, homework, dinners, events, schedules and discipline), while still providing moments of fun that made her an important part of their family dynamic. 

Emily has a natural and easy way with children & adults.  She is full of compassion, humor and joyful exuberance. Do not let her calm and relaxed nature fool you. Emily can romp and play with the smallest of children, maintain structure and discipline and make adults around her feel at ease and supported.
