About Emily Rose

Hi! My name is Emily and I'm an upcoming senior at UCSB majoring in Environmental Studies BA. I've been babysitting since I was 12 and have experience with children from 11 months to 13 years old. Before college, I volunteered as a teacher assistant at DucksNest Preschool and led peer tutoring for 3 years in high school! I can't express the joy babysitting brings me and the opportunity to provide companionship, emotional support, and a safe, maturing environment. I realized my passion for caring for kids in elementary school as a reading buddy to kindergarteners. The chance to positively influence kids, watch them grow, and build a relationship they'll look back on and smile at are all reasons why I babysit. Not only do I want to babysit your kid(s), but I hope to become a role model, friend, teacher, mermaid, black belt in karate, master painter, and whatever else I can be for them :) I'm absolutely thrilled to watch your kids, so please don't hesitate to reach out!
