Hello! My name is Emily and I am a travel Physical Therapist in the Reno area until december 2026. I have been babysitting children on and off for 10 years now and have watched children, ages from infancy to 9 years old. Over the summers, as a camp counselor at a sports camp, I had the responsibility of 10 to 20 kids at a time. I worked at this facility for three summers. I was then a nanny for a family with two daughters in middle school and a son in elementary school. My main care was for their son who needed help with homework. I then worked for a family of three during the pandemic. I helped this family by taking care of their nine week year old during the day. Activities included diaper changes, walks, lots of playing and reading, dinner and lunch, bath abs bed time. I love to stay active and just be outside! Biking, kayaking, hiking, running, playing soccer are some of the activities I love :)

We hired Emily as a nanny for our then 12-week-old son in May of 2020, and she quickly became a part of our family. As our son has grown from newborn to infant to nearly a toddler, Emily has reliably and gently helped him through all of the various phases of his development. From rocking and shushing him when he was just a tiny infant, to playing peekaboo, reading books, taking him for long walks outside, and spending time with him in our Montessori-style playroom, Emily does it all. She also keeps his laundry clean, tidies his bedroom and the kitchen, makes sure he gets nutritious meals when I don't have time to cook for him, and she even gives our dogs exercise! I don't know how I would have handled being a first time mom during this pandemic if it weren't for Emily's reliable kindness, fun personality, and care. It's wonderful when I am working from home to hear my son giggling because she is singing nursery rhymes to him, or reading him a story. Would hire again in a heartbeat!
