About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a part-time birth doula so I always have other part-time roles. I love being with kids. My last part-time role was with an after-school and summer camp running the program! I would also fill in and teach often, which I loved. I also love pets. I have a dog named Eva, who is 11, and I often pet sit and do overnights for my family's dogs. I'm open to babysitting, care of an adult, and dog care. I'd describe my personality as warm, grounding, and kind. I'm looking for a job that is ongoing so I can grow a relationship with the person(s) or animal(s) I'm caring for. It could be afternoons/mornings or full days. I started working with kids professionally about 10 years ago. I ran a STEM and literacy program in California and more recently I was in middle schools working directly with kids to improve access to college. As a young girl, I often babysat the neighborhood kids and I'm the oldest of 3.
