About Emily

I like caring for seniors because I have a great respect for people who have lived life and had experiences that younger people can learn from. I love the unique lives and experiences of seniors from past generations. I have empathy for people who are aging and not capable of doing all they used to, and want to be available to ease and soothe those life changes. I am very interested in history and "olden days" and love hearing the stories of past times. I'm looking for a job where I can connect and enhance the family that I am working for. I enjoy a large variety of interests from cooking to gardening to games and nature. I enjoy singing hymns, doing crossword puzzles, painting and taking walks and I would like to share that with a senior who needs a companion. My skills include showing interest in what my client enjoys and connecting through conversation and activities in or out of the house. I am compassionate and try to anticipate needs and meet them!
