About Emily

I am a mother of two. I attended babysitting classes at the YMCA and my first job was a camp counselor at a special needs adolescent camp. I also attended parenting classes before my first child's birth at the children's home society. Although my CNA HHA and CMA certificates have recently lapsed due to staying home with my children before they were in school it does not take away my experience as a caregiver for 6 plus years in the community. I am certified in CPR and mental health / first aid. My last job was at csp&j running a community center and a life coach for nonprofits I am an advocate for early adolescent mindfulness and breathing techniques to help with emotion regulation as well as positive reinforcement communicating with the child rather than punishment. I would love to be your trusted sitter / caregiver for your child / children.
