About Emily

Hi there. I'm a caring, patient, and calm nanny experienced working with children aged 1-13. Some of my previous roles include working as a classroom assistant with preschoolers, as a behavior therapist, and as a nanny. I have experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My goal when working with kids is to connect with them by getting to know who they are and what they like. Each child is truly unique, and I find getting on their level and learning how to connect with them in their own way very rewarding. I am a graduate student studying social work and plan to become a therapist. I am available all days of the week except Tuesdays and Thursdays and am looking for a long-term, recurring position less than 20 hours per week. I am comfortable around pets (I have my own dog), do not smoke, and have my own car. I am open to light cleaning and meal preparing. I'm looking forward to connecting.
