About Emily

As a mommy's helper, babysitter, nanny, and preschool teacher, I can confidently say that kids are my passion. I've been working with littles since the age of 12 when I became a certified babysitter. I taught infant-adolescent swim lessons through my high school years. During college, where I studied Elementary Education, I had a few full time nanny positions. Here I was able to care for kids across ages and abilities. Later, I was lead teacher for a preschool classroom of 22 3-year-olds! I have been trained in CPR, AED, first aid, Heimlich, LifeVac and water-rescue. I can handle it all! When working with kiddos, balance is the name of the game! I focus on balancing fun with learning, freedom with structure, and discipline with empathy. Parents are busy so I am happy to cook, tidy up & feed the pup as well. Caretaking is something that I truly enjoy, so the rest comes easy. My experience and background are extensive, my passion runs deep and I'd love to grow with your family!
