I earned a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Sciences while also participating in various youth development programs within the local community. I spent 3 summers as a senior camp counselor managing groups of 1-8 children between the ages of 5-14. I was also a preschool teacher teaching children between the ages of 0-5. My career path has changed and I now work within work for families I have connected with through my preschool teaching position as well as families I have met through care. com. Emily is absolutely amazing! We were very lucky to have met Emily as our daughter’s daycare co-teacher and she started sitting for us in 2021 when she moved on to another job. It was so reassuring to have a sitter with professional childcare experience for our then infant and 2 year old girls. Emily still sits for our now 3 and 5 year olds. The girls love her, as do we. They are so excited when she comes that they practically push us out the door and we can enjoy some time out guilt free! In addition to having fun, Emily is great with meal prep, homework, bedtime, and pets too. Most importantly, she really gets to personally know and care about who the kids are as individuals. We are very grateful for the relationship she has developed with our family!
