Hi Austin Families! My name is Emily, and I am currently a 1st grade teacher pursuing my graduate degree in Professional Counseling to become a School Counselor and LPC. I have been a teacher for four years in AISD and I will not be returning to the classroom next school year, as I have decided to focus on graduate school full-time. I have extensive experience nannying and working with children ages 4 months to 15 years old. I am seeking more part time this summer and around 25-30 hours per week staring in August for the year. My class schedule is: • Summer: Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30 AM-1:00 p.m. • Fall: Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. I am passionate about working with children and creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where kids can learn, play, and feel cared for.
