About Emily

I'd describe my personality as kind, funny, empathetic, and adaptable. I like working with kids because they are interesting and fun and interacting with them as they grow and develop is a blessing! I started working with kids when I was a young mom many years ago. I cared for other children along side of my own and eventually got a position as a preschool assistant. I homeschooled my children for many years and taught classes for all ages. I've been a foster parent, and also am an adoptive mom. I was a paraprofessional in a self-contained SPED classroom as well. I am skilled, patient, flexible, and steady. In my spare time, I like to volunteer in the community and anything creative. I love spending time with my kids and being available for them when I can. One thing you should know about me is I will care for your children with genuine kindness and compassion while structuring our time according to your preference as a family.
