About EMILY

Hello! My name is Emily. I have a background in teaching and over 25 years of experience working with children. I have been a career nanny, household manager, au pair, Montessori teacher, Homeschool teacher, and Intervention teacher. I am currently focusing on my writing career and am looking for a nice family to work part time for. I write children's picture books. It is my dream to be able to reach so many children and families! I am comfortable and familiar with most every nanny task... light housekeeping, outdoor play, arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading to/with children, meal prep, laundry, etc. I love children! I love their joy, curiosity and wonder. I have worked with pretty much every age range, but I am most comfortable with ages 1-teen.
