About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a 19-year-old high school graduate with a strong passion for childcare and early childhood development. I've been working with kids since I was 16, starting at a summer camp and continuing with daycare work and a kindergarten classroom internship. These experiences helped me grow patient, empathetic, and creative in how I connect with kids. I'm CPR certified and believe in building trust by getting to know each child's interests-whether that's crafts, sports, dress-up, or imaginative play. I always strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel heard and valued. I'm starting cosmetology school this November, but caregiving will always be close to my heart. I also have a car and am happy to help with driving or errands. As someone with ADHD, I've learned flexibility, patience, and understanding-qualities I bring into every job. My goal is to bring joy, kindness, and encouragement into each child's day.
