Hi, I'm Emily. I've been working with children for 15 years. I'm CPR/AED verified, as well as been to many different training for childcare. I have a 9year-old. Also, I have my Child Development Associates. It didn't take long for me to know that childcare would become my career because being around children brings me genuine joy instead of the dread of another work day. After five years of working at Easter Seals Midwest, a special needs based preschool, I took maternity leave and was lucky enough to become a stay at home mother for almost about 9 months. One on one attention in early childhood is extremely important for children and has always been my favorite part of my job. I've worked at a couple other preschools but have realized that my talents would be put to much better use in a smaller setting. More time to build relationships, trust, and respect. I'm eager to make a lifelong bond, all while also making my livelihood.
