About Emily

Hello! I'm Emily, a Michigan-certified educator with over 20 years of teaching and instructional leadership experience and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I specialize in personalized, in-home instruction for elementary-aged children, including reading intervention, structured literacy, foundational math, academic enrichment, and homeschool support. My experience as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, ESL director, assistant principal, and university instructor allows me to tailor instruction to each child's individual learning needs. I believe meaningful relationships are the foundation of successful learning. My goal is to build confidence, foster independence, and help children experience academic success through engaging, research-based instruction. Serving families throughout Rochester and the surrounding Oakland County area.
